Rugged Off-Road Terrain — After the first 20 km from Kumali, the jeep roof can be opened for a true open-top off-road ride through forest trails, rocky paths, and mountain ridges. Periyar River View — A calm and scenic viewpoint where the river flows through the valley, perfect for photography and enjoying the mountain breeze. Three Jungle Border Viewpoints — These points lie close to the reserve border, giving spectacular views of deep forest and mountain ranges. Tea Plantations — Drive through lush tea estates and hill slopes, with opportunities to stop and take photos. Lemon Grass Hills — Signature Attraction — The entire region is covered with lemon grass hills; this unique landscape attracts wild animals such as elephants, bison, deer, and wild boar who come to feed, raising the chances of wildlife sightings.
