The tea Museum was established by Tata Tea in 2005 at Nallathanni estate. The museum chronicles the journey of the growth of tea in Munnar. The museum has many photographs and machines celebrating the legacy of the plantations owners and workers who ensured the survival of tea plantations here for long.The transition from the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully-automated tea factory is an interesting sight to watch. So is the process of tea making. The demonstration room here attracts most tourists. Some of the most exotic tea in the world are available here.
